The Darkness tocará tres conciertos de calentamiento antes de Download

Para ponernos los dientes largos...se acaba de anunciar (no en la web oficial aún) que The Darkness tocará tres conciertos en plan calentamiento para el de Download los próximos 5, 6 y 8 de junio en el Reino Unido.

Los shows serán en plan íntimos para algunos fans y para calentar motores para el concierto oficial de regreso en Download el 10 de junio.

Las fechas son las siguientes:

Sun June 5th 2011 - Norwich, Waterfront
Mon June 6th 2011 - Leamington Spa, The Assembly
Wed June 8th 2011 - London, O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire

Las entradas se ponen a la venta el próximo 20 de mayo, imaginamos que desde la web oficial. Al parecer,  aquellos que tengan sus entradas para verlos en Download, han recibido un correo con un cupón especial para comprarse los tickets ya, el resto tendrá que esperar al 20 de mayo para conseguirlos. Suerte para todos aquellos que puedan ir y ver el regreso de la banda, nosotros tendremos que esperar que algún alma caricativa lo grabe absolutamente TODO!!

Ya va quedando menos para el regreso de la banda a los escenarios ;)

Y...otro festival! Ahora toca para finales de agosto en Winterhurer, un festival alemán donde tomarán parte el próximo 26 de agosto como acto principal. Por lo tanto, si sumamos ésta fecha a las otras ya anunciadas, tenemos:

Finalmente, comentamos que en las noticias que hay en la red sobre éstos conciertos dicen que la banda ha completado ya el tercer disco de estudio. Cosa que realmente dudo, no hace ni mes y medio que se metieron en el estudio, pero bueno....quien sabe? habrá que esperar...

ACTUALIZACION 2: se confirma en la web oficial los tres shows de calentamiento de la banda, a parte de que confirman que para entonces (principios de junio) tendrán terminados las grabaciones de su tercer disco! Aquí tenéis el mensaje:

Obviously, nobody would be foolish enough to play their first show in over 5 years in front of 80,000 people.
So a good run-up at it is needed.

Immediately following the end of recording sessions the album, live duties will begin with an ‘as close to hometown show as is possible' gig at the Norwich Waterfront, with a date in Leamington Spa hot on its heels. Then, it's the turn of London, at the lovely Shepherd's Bush Empire.

Tickets for the Norwich show are available to the world (or, at least, 700 of the world), Leamington & London tickets are initially ONLY available to those already holding Download tickets (or who purchase Download tickets before 5pm on Friday 13th June).
